About the adventure
The powers of the Sixth World have been placing all sorts of bets—on themselves, their allies, their enemies, and most importantly, on the plans they have for the future. The time has come to find out who will be the winners and losers of some of those bets, and what the consequences will be. Final Bets takes shadowrunners to Paris where many major Sixth World plot lines are converging, and runners have the chance to be in the middle of all of them. From the intrigue of the Grand Tour to the shifting alliances of the Dis situation to the ongoing machinations of the rich and powerful, Paris is going to be the heart of some intense shadow activity, and runners will have a chance to shape—and hopefully benefit from—the ongoing events. Players that join an in-progress campaign will be given additional resources in karma and nuyen to allow them to be able to operate at the same level as everyone else in the group.

Meet the Game Master
About me
A lifelong obsession with gaming, sci-fantasy, cyberpunk with the intersection of my more recent interest in TTRPGs has led me into the path of being a professional GM. I started running Shadowrun 9 years ago after playing the hare-brained schemes and getting fully immersed in the world. Never could I have guessed that this curiosity would lead me to making lifelong friends, meeting my fiance, and becoming a demo agent for Catalyst Game Labs, the makers of Shadowrun. I am dedicated to sharing my passion with others and immersing them into a living breathing world of corporate espionage, secret magical societies and technology run amok. So, what are you waiting for chummer? Get your gear on and join the team. The shadows are waiting.

Inclusive
The group I'm in has just finished the first of a few modules set in Neo_Tokyo, running under Shadowrun 6th Edition. Eric is a really good gamesmaster. Very well prepared (maps, tokens galore and background music); shares the spotlight round the group and paces things well; doesn't let matrix work bog down the action in meatspace (no mean feat, even with 6th's smoother matrix rules).
Our group is a bunch of veteran players who have been playing together for decades, which a lot of the time a new person finds it hard to fit into that dynamic, especially as a GM trying to organize the Chaos. Eric did a great job while also helping us all familiarize ourselves with the setting and ruleset.
Character creation
Creating your character
Players will be given an invite to my discord and put into a channel for their group where they can discuss with their fellow players what they are playing and coordinate if they would like. Players can use the free character generation software genesis which they can then transfer manually into roll20.
LGBTQ+, mental health safe space, and beginner friendly. Weekly games for 3 hours a session. Players that are not disruptive and have a cooperative attitude are welcome. Have pre-generated characters available for beginners.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have a mic, discord, and the core rulebook. It is required for players to have read through the core rulebook at least once by session 1.
What Eric brings to the table
Over 100 fully rendered maps, custom character tokens, background music and sound effects, a vibrant living world that reacts to character choices and does not just railroad the team to a preset conclusion, 7 years experience running primarily Shadowrun.
