About the adventure

A mythic land full of adventure and danger awaits... For many ages, Thylea was a wilderness of centaurs, satyrs, cyclopes, and other creatures who worshipped their native gods, the Titans. Mortals who came to Thylea lived in small, defenseless tribes—until the arrival of the Dragonlords. The Dragonlords were an order of heroic, dragon-riding mortals who came to Thylea five centuries ago. They initiated the First War against the Titans and defeated their armies. Most of the Dragonlords and their dragons were killed during this conflict. When all seemed lost, the mortals of Thylea were saved by the sudden appearance of the Five Gods, who walked the land in mortal guise. They forced the Titans into a temporary truce, called the Oath of Peace. The Oath of Peace has prevented open warfare with the Titans for five hundred years. But now, the truce is ending. The power of the Five Gods wanes, and the Titans prepare to wage war upon mortals once again. You, the heroes, are chosen by the Oracle to confront the ancient Titans and end the conflict once and for all. This requires you to fulfill the Oracle's prophecy and rebuild the ancient order of the Dragonlords. Thylea is a fantasy setting styled after mythical Greece. Titans and gods walk the land, minotaurs roam mazes, and heroes sail into uncharted waters to claim their glory. Choose from any of the core races or the Thylean natives: minotaur, centaur, satyr, siren, nymph, or cursed medusa. Choose from mythical subclasses like the Amazonian Ranger, Herculean Barbarian, or Warlock of the Fates and many more. Finally, choose the epic path your character will walk during the campaign; is your character the Doomed One? Fated to die like Achilles, or are you the Dragonslayer like Perseus? Perhaps you are the Cursed One, forced to go through life cursed by the gods for something your ancestors did? Each epic path is specific to a character and has in-game rewards and treasure for completing milestones during the campaign.

About me

Greetings! I've been playing TTRPGs for over 30 years and I love bringing new players into our hobby. I've been running D&D 5e campaigns both in-person and online for about 6 years, with a good mix of veteran and brand new players. I will work with you on your character and backstory and thread it into my campaign. Over the course of the campaign, we'll work together to develop your character's personal arc within the boundaries of the game world. You can look forward to a persistent game world where the NPCs continue their lives when you are not around and your choices and decisions affect the world around you. Before session 0, you'll be provided with the primer and social contract, as well as a "Player Survey" which will ask you about your playstyle preferences so I can get the proper mix of the three pillars (combat, exploration, social interaction) for the party. I have several campaign packages available for scheduling: Private Party Campaign: Do you have a group of friends that love to play, but no one has the time to organize and run a campaign? Book me and I will run a WOTC published campaign for you, start to finish. One shots are also available. For Intermediate to Experienced Players. Learn to Play Campaign: Are you and/or your friends interested in learning how to play D&D, but don’t know where to start? In Learn to Play, I will walk you through all aspects of the game from Session 0 and character creation to game mechanics and roleplaying. I will help you make decisions, understand your character, and how to interact with the game world. We will play through one of the two Dungeons and Dragons starter campaigns: Lost Mines of Phandelver, if we have a group of 4 or more players or Dragon of Icespire Peak for 3 or less players. For Beginner Players. Junior Adventurers: Do you have potential adventurers on the younger side that want to play D&D but you don’t know where to get them into a game that would be appropriate for them? With either Learn to Play or Private Party, I will run a family friendly game appropriate for kids ages 10+ and their friends or parents/family members. Any Experience Level. Each campaign will be accompanied by a one-page primer with a summary of the game world, character creation rules, any class or race restrictions, and connected character backgrounds. A separate one page social contract will also be provided detailing lines and veils, unacceptable behaviors, and player and DM expectations. Most of my campaigns will contain mature language and themes, however I am flexible and can accommodate much younger players (one of my favorite games is with my 8 year old nephew whom I taught to play). I use Foundry VTT with Discord for Audio/Video and in and out of character chats and notes, and DNDBeyond for all character creation. I currently own all content available in DNDBeyond and I am open to 3rd party publisher content on a by-campaign basis. Requirements: internet connected device and microphone, camera preferred but not required, DNDBeyond account (free), Discord account (free).

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will be created and maintained on DNDBeyond, but played on Foundry. This is a specific-themed campaign with campaign race and class options, but most 5e subclass options and core races will be available. Upon joining, you'll receive a one sheet with creation details.

The current party

Saturdays 7:30pm-11pm CST The party is level 6 and has just begun their Odyssey across the dangerous seas of Thylea in search of allies, artifacts, and the power to take on the gods themselves.
