About the adventure
In the wake of the Scorpion Clan Coup, Rokugan thought "the Emperor's Underhand" was destroyed. The wife of the Clan Daimyo was married to the Emperor and under his authority. The Scorpion Clan was no more. How little they knew. Bayushi Kachiko commands a small cadre of spies who carry out missions. Under her orders, they find members of their Clan who are missing or in hiding. Slowly, oh so slowly, Kachiko is re-building the Underhand. But what are her true motives? Does she hope to restore the Clan to its previous glory, or is she only interested in cold-blooded revenge? Players take the roles of Kachiko's most trusted spies, taking on missions of espionage, intrigue, and danger. There is no-one to trust. The whole of Rokugan will draw their blades if they discover you. Can you carry out Kachiko's most dangerous orders and survive, let alone succeed? Only you know the answer.

Creating your character
We will make characters using the 1st Edition rules (plus some house rules I've been using). Bring ten 10-sided dice, paper, and a willingness to do anything for your mistress, Kachiko.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Have a webcam and a microphone. YOU DO NOT NEED KNOWLEDGE OF L5R. This is a game for players who are familiar with Rokugan and players who want to try their hand at it for the first time.
What John Wick brings to the table
I will bring a set of house rules I've been using. I'll send you the PDF. Nothing too complicated or different; you'll recognize everything. Just a few tweaks here and there. Consider it "L5R 1.5."
