About the adventure
A treasure hunt like no other! Welcome to Waterdeep, a sprawling city full of people, places, guilds, organizations, and adventures. In the renowned Yawning Portal, tempers flare between factions, punches are thrown, and a famous chronicler asks for your aid. Be careful, the laws of Waterdeep are strict, but should you succeed, what other chances might you uncover? Part treasure hunt, part urban adventure, part mystery, there is adventure awaiting you in the famous city of Waterdeep. Should you uncover everything that there is missing above ground, there are ever greater chances to explore. Who wants to pull off a heist?!

Creating your character
Characters will start at level 1, and this will ideally be done in session 0. If you have a premade character, or want a pre-generated one, that's not a problem.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please make a discord account if you do not have one. Mic please, camera optional. Make an account on Owlbear Rodeo, and download the free icon starter packs in your profile. Digital or physical dice are fine, there's an extension in OR for rolling, but you don't have to use it. I operate on the honour system (plus, always passing every roll makes the game boring!). If you require blank character sheets, I have them and will provide during session 0.

How RealWorldbuilding creates a safe table
During session 0, we can discuss what may come up, and the broad theme of the game as well as looking at the broad base of the campaign and establishing characters/party composition as a group. We will also establish Lines and Veils. This game is an urban adventure, in a large, well protected city. A party who is afraid to be decisive is in trouble, but a group that solves all things with violence is likely in more trouble.
