About the adventure
This is the Age of Worms. A D&D adventure published through adventure path magazine made for 3.5E. After much hard work, it has been converted to be usable in 5E and is ready to be played! This game is for those who either wish to try an adventure they've never tried before, or those who remember this publication and wish to be reintroduced to it. With small details changed for conversion to 5e, it will be a new experience for anyone. The adventure is based in the world of Greyhawk so for those who have never played this world it will truly be a new experience! The game is an adventure with themes in mystery, eldritch horror, and survival mechanics. Though you could fight your way through every encounter, diplomacy is also advised. But saying that, i will run the campaign based off of your actions and make sure to work the story to your party. Can you stop the age of worms?

I have been a DM for D&D 5e since 2016. I started in college and never stopped. I love TTRPG'S and everything about them! Creating your character
All characters will start at level 1 and will be created together during the free session 0. D&D beyond is recommended for integration into the rolling system in place on discord, but is not necessary.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
A Webcam is not necessary but would be appreciated. A mic is required especially for RP and ease of communication. Rules will be set on the discord but we will go over each one and adjust them to the party's liking. Character Ideas will be welcome but please don't create a character right away! All Characters will be created in session 0.
What Darien Noel brings to the table
Roll20 For Battle Maps Discord for communication and Dice rolls (Mic Needed) DndBeyond for Character sheet or equivalent that works with Avrae bot. Everything in this campaign is theater of the mind, but I will have some maps set up for battles that are scripted in the adventurer. As well as extra maps for any random battle that could commence. This will be a high RP game set in the world of Greyhawk, Darker Themes are to he expected but will not pass any boundaries that have been set. Player choice has a large impact on the game but this is a scripted module so some railroading is to be expected in some cases. I do utilize character voices as well as Copyright free ambient music for those who wish to stream/Record the D&D Sessions with consent of the other players. We do have rules of Cool which will be seen upon joining the discord and discussions on them will happen. We do try to run as close to RAW as possible with flexibility on some rulings for flavor and situational circumstances.

How Darien Noel creates a safe table
We will always run a session 0 to make sure everyone is on the same page and to make characters. Please don't make characters until session 0. The open door is for those who need to take a break and feel overwhelmed. If you must leave it is totally understandable and I will come up with a reason your character is away from the group. If you wish to return you will come back with no hassle. The aftercare and debriefing will be to check in with everyone. At the end I will ask you how you are all feeling so far? About how the session turned out and how you are doing mentally. If there is somthing you have an issue with, be it another player or something that happened in the session, let me know and I will make sure to take care of it to the best of my abilities. The wellbeing of my players is a priority.
