About the adventure

It's said that a hundred kingdoms rose when the empire collapsed. A hundred warring kingdoms fighting over lands and resources. It was a time known as the Hundred Wars. It was a time of uncertainty. It was a time ripe for conquest. The Hundred Wars ended when the dragons came. They split the lands between them, ignoring the squabbling of mankind. Kings and Queens bowed down to their new overlords or burned. Thus came the Age of Dragons, an era spanning over 100 years, an era that would end with the rise of new heroes. (That's you. You are the heroes.)

About me

When the last D20 is rolled the world will end. I've been sent back in time to reverse this through Dungeons and Dragons. Together we can save the world. I bring storylines that adapt to the players and love creative thinkers. I run a sandbox, narrative, and roleplay heavy(ish) custom setting with probably one combat or challenge encounter per session unless the players are dictating otherwise. I’m not really big on one-shots, my passion lies in campaigns. The ongoing epic stories the players guide and participate in makes for some amazing memories. I look forward to making new memories with my players. (No racists or homophobes need apply. LGBT+ friendly, all inclusive, people of all walks of life welcome. I love everyone and you should too.) Character creation

Creating your character

I use the 75 points method. This is not a point buy, just straight distribution of points. Take 75 points and distribute them as you see fit among your six ability scores. Nothing can exceed 18. (Quick Math: 75 divided by 6 is 12.5; so you'll have an average of 12.5 for your ability scores. If it's easier for you, start with 12, 13, 12, 13, 12, 13 and make adjustments from there. If you add 1 to one score, you must take 1 from another.) After you've split those 75 points, add your racial bonuses. If you have questions on any of this message me, we can talk through it. For HP: Max HP for level one, for all future levels roll the HD for your class. If you rolled above the average, take it. If you rolled below the average, take the average. We start at level 2. What to expect

Preparing for the session

A mic and access to roll20 and discord is all you need. DnDBeyond is fine if that's what you want to use. Backstories don't need to be finalized before session zero, but try to have something in mind.

Safety

How Ben creates a safe table

We will start with a session zero and discuss lines and veils. These will be added to our discord in its own channel to be referenced at any point (and new players who join later will be directed to them and invited to suggest additions if desired).
