See the Seasons Change. Ghosts are Haunting the Forest. Willshore must live - Season of Ghosts AP.
Pathfinder 2e | Campaign
About the adventure
Season of Ghosts - the latest PF2E adventure takes abit of a turn from others. For one, it's set in the far past, very near where the Age of Lost Omens begins..... but this literally Cataclysmic event is of no concern to you for you are a citizen of the sleepy logging town of Willowshore, in the Empire of Shenmen in Tian Xia, just going about your day to day life hoping this winter is just as mild as the last one. Ah yes, Winter. Another feature of the Season of Ghosts is that it is cyclical / seasonal. The adventure begins during this years, titular festival. You see the woods and sorrounding hinterlands are haunted.... very haunted in fact. But you have your ways of staving off the dearly departed. Every year the people of Willowshore hold a grand festival on the first day of Summer. Villagers in paper ghost costumes patrol the street and cause chaos, mourners wail as some citizens are "abducted" - the abductees just so happen to be, you, the party. You see, the better and more convincing the festival is, the more likely ghosts are to take pity on Willowshore, seeing as it's already so miserable, might as well go haunt some cheerful people .... or at least that's what folklore holds.

Victor is everything you want from a GM. Each session is long at 4 hours but even with our 1st lvl characters each challenge was gripping and the time sped by, The presentation from some GM's sounds second-hand ....the GM who has read the rules a few times and is only a page ahead of their players in knowledge but Victor is a library ahead and not a stuffy one ....fresh and relevant and sensitive to the mood at the table all while being funny, This guy understands Drama. Entertaining and impressive.
Victor knows the rules well and creates a fun atmosphere for all of his players. There is plenty of combat challenge in his games, but also opportunity for role play and rapport building amongst the party. The players this GM attracts are really fun as well, just as much fun to hang out with outside of game as well as in-game.
Good vibes all round; Victor is very knowledgable, patient and friendly as a GM which is reassuring as someone still fairly new to the game. There's a great sense of pacing, and he seems well prepared for both adventure content and the unpredictability of player actions, overall have had a great time with him so far and would highly recommend to others looking to jump into an adventure with.
Victor has a great sense of drama, which carries through into both his effects on Foundry and his delivery. He does a great job of describing the scene with precise and evocative language, and adds lighting to suit. His soundscapes are very well-chosen. I'm in a horror campaign with him and the atmosphere is just the right level of unsettling without being abrasive. He's also got a wicked sense of humor, so even in the darkest setting, he can gleefully describe what the baddies are doing to your character. He's focused on fun first and foremost, so expect to be intrigued, moved, and delighted!
Victor knows the game, plays a soundboard of music and effects, runs a variety of modules that increase the playability of games, and makes each roleplay scene just as fun as each combat encounter. Victor definitely spends time prepping for each game, finding new tools for play, and helping find or create art for players.

How to prepare
Webcams are not mandatory, i will of course strive to always be on camera - heatwave permitting. I do expect everyone to have at least a dedicated headset / microphone for the respect of your fellow players please don't have constantly buzzing, hard to understand audio equipment. Familiarity with the 2E system of course is a big advantage but i am perfectly capable and patient of inducting new players to the system. Be sure to read Paizo's official free player's guide for the module at: https://paizo.com/community/blog/v5748dyo6siev Software wise all that is required is a Free Forge account over at - https://forge-vtt.com/ - this is the Hosting platform i will be using to host Foundry. The game will launch in your browser. Some nominal minimum system requirements are necessary as Foundry is a beast of a VTT - https://foundryvtt.com/article/requirements/
What I provide
The premium Foundry VTT Module for Season of Ghosts with it's lovely upscaled battle maps and specially mixed ambiance. A near encyclopedic knowledge of the system. All published material for 2E so far and some excellent third party stuff. At this point i own almost al of Paizo's premium modules on foundry so i have access to alot of aditional, fantastic artwork and especially beatiful, atmospheric music as these assets can be mixed and matched. I have picked up some basic knowledge of working with foundry's Rule Elements and if the problem surpasses me, i know who to ask, so anything that's not already automated and you'd like it to be, we can probably make happen. A Discord community for hanging out and discussing with fellow players and myself in between sessions.
Gameplay details
Personally, everyone having fun is the most important thing so i prefer a table where we can smile thill our jaws hurt just riffing off each other. I expect my players to excuse the odd OC moment if it means we can all have a pleasant evening. All that being said, i like to provide my players with the all the opportunities to explore in character RP - as much as each wants to engage, we arn't all born thespians after all - so we can have those moments that we'll remember for the rest of our lives. Be they joyous, melancholic or anything in between. This of course includes everyone feeling like they are in a safe enviroment at the table. Safety tools will be discussed during session 0. Breaks are both scheduled and can be taken at any time a player feels in necesary. Also thanks to the magic of VTT's we have an X, N & O module available for use. If such a card is presented only i as the gm will see it and can adjust accordingly on the spot.

How will character creation work
Character creation will happen during session 0 (or before if everyone is comfortable enough with second edition). Seeing as this adventure starts at lvl 1, i am more than happy to go through character creation and system expectations with you. I'm fully capable of explaining the intricacies of the system, plus we have a Discord of community of equally versed people than can help when i'm not around. Variant Rules are in effect. This includes Free Archetype, Ancestry Paragon and Gradual Ability boost. The level two archetype you would chose is in effect at lvl 1, upon character creation. We have some House Rules in effect including the fact that ALL ancestries have access to some Human goodies including skilled and versatile heritages, unconventional weaponry and natural ambition, to encourage some diversity and less "forced" choice.
