Were you a Guardian of a forgotten gateway? An experiment gone wrong? Or perhaps a philosopher who devoted their life to embody their way of thinking in one of the many guilds of Sigil? No idea what any of this means? Even better! π Using the Feat Buy system build your unique race if you want to and work with DM to sketch out their history! π Make items matter with a Wear and Tear system that awards you for taking care of your gear! How to prepare
π‘οΈπ±βπ€ How to prepare for the game = Each player is required to have a microphone and a working webcam. Characters will be built on Roll20. If you don't have experience with the system, GM will be glad to help you out. For communication, we will use Zoom and set up a channel on Discord. Players are expected to have both of these apps downloaded before we start. Players will make their Rolls on Roll20.
What I provide
π‘οΈπ±βπ House rules = We will use a couple of rules to enrich our experience, including but not limited to the Feat Buy System, Talent Trees, the addition of the Streetwise skill, Lingering Injuries, Critical Hits, and Fumbles (stacking on double dmg per crit), Wear & Tear, Soulbound items, Diseases, Fantastical Narcotics and expanded use of tools with addition to some custom tools and crafting for each character.
Gameplay details
βοΈ Four commandments = 1. We are all here to have fun, 2. During the game, we minimize metagaming, 3. During the game, we don't use our phones unless an emergency arises, 4. If we come across an issue that needs to be resolved, GM will do so in accordance with the game's rules and will act as their arbitrator. βοΈ Lines and Veils = Will be discussed during session 0 with the possible addition of a short questionnaire aimed at the players.

How will character creation work
π‘οΈπ±βπ Before the game = We will first all meet for a free session 0 during which we will discuss our expectations and wishes for the game. During session 0 we will roll initiative to determine the order in which the players will pick their classes and races. We don't share this information publically but with the GM. Characters can then meet up for the first time during the adventure or we can randomly create pairs with shared history. Following session 0 each player will receive 3 private sessions with the GM to fully flesh out the character. Two of which will be devoted to creation and one for test play to experience the GM's playstyle and table rules.
