Creating your character

Characters are to be created in D&D Beyond, using either standard array or point buy for stats. I allow all official races and classes, as well as some homebrew character creation. All I ask is that homebrew creations are run by me first to be checked for suitability.

Preparing for the session

You will need a microphone, free D&D beyond account, a free discord account and an optional owlbear rodeo account. I permit the use of physical dice so you might want a set with you, although digital dice are provided as part of the free D&D beyond package.

What Dan of the dice brings to the table

I’ll be bringing a bunch of resources such as maps from official adventures, but also my own creations which can be downloaded freely by yourselves (official maps not included). But above all I’ll be bringing enthusiasm and a love of the rule of cool.

How Dan of the dice creates a safe table

This adventure has made use of a session zero, where we went over the lines and veils of the players, as well as character creation questions, the premise of the adventure, and the opportunity for open discussions and questions. The above will be offered in a one to one for those joining now. Once playing I use a yellow and red card system that will be explained during session zero, with frequent reminders throughout the campaign.
