About me
Howdy! My games tend towards the sandbox, do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law and all that. I'm a big believer in the power of narrative. The best stories are always about ideas more than plots. That's not to say that it's all arthouse allegory, but the plot should be about more than a list of bad guys to thwart and loot to steal. (Except, of course, when that's the story being told. Context is king.) If you show up for my games expect a certain amount of history, satire, and the odd pop culture reference in the mix. I tend towards horror and comedy, as I find they complement each other well, but again, depends on the game. I also offer personalized one-shots for players that miss a game- you aren't on auto-follow, you're off doing things. Need to miss a game? Don't worry, I got you. Creating your character
Character creation will be guided by myself either beforehand or during Session 0. The only thing the character needs to have ahead of time is a very loose conception of what kind of person they'd like to play.
It's better in the shade. The Kindred of Tucson find themselves in an odd position. Money flows in as the region attempts to reorient itself as a tech center to rival Silicon Valley. On the frontlines of the war with the Sabbat, they are used as a buffer by the Camarilla of Phoenix. To the west, the Anarchs of San Diego hope to use the conflict to destabilize the elders' hold on the region. All in all, things are really starting to heat up in the Valley of the Sun...
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Only a way to access Discord is needed. If you can log in from your phone, great, if you have a PC with webcam and mic, even better. Dice and a character sheet are suggested but not necessary if you trust me to make your rolls.
