Champions of the Sword Coast The War for the Realms Has Begun From windswept coastlines to storm-tossed mountains, from haunted forests to the streets of gleaming cities, the Sword Coast is under siege. The forces of evil rise unchecked an ever growing tide of darkness crashing against the fragile shores of peace. Orc warbands surge from the Spine of the World. Cultists of forgotten gods whisper dark prayers in blood-soaked temples. Fiends and foul beasts, long banished, walk the land once more. Villages are razed. Trade routes vanish under shadow. Whole towns cry out for aid and too often, no one answers. But you did. You are no mere wanderers or sellswords. You are heroes chosen by fate, forged in battle, and bound by purpose. Your names may not yet be known in song or story, but they will be. Because the Sword Coast needs champions. And in its hour of greatest need, you have risen. Your mission is simple yet vital: defend the innocent, uncover the truth behind the rising chaos, and crush the forces that threaten to unravel the Realms. You will be called to protect cities teetering on the edge of ruin, track monstrous warlords through deadly wilds, and dive into ancient ruins where the past still hungers for blood. But this is no linear tale. No fixed destiny. This is your story. The game unfolds across the Forgotten Realms, a world of rich history and endless adventure. Familiar locations Waterdeep, Neverwinter, Baldur’s Gate await your arrival. But beware: even the well-known has changed. Ancient powers stir, alliances fracture, and evil adapts. This campaign is a living, breathing world. At its heart is a unique blend of classic Realms lore and player-driven storytelling. Your choices matter. Your backstories shape the world. Your victories and failures will echo across the coast. There are legends waiting to be written your legends. But take nothing for granted. The enemies you face are cunning, cruel, and many. Game style
Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
Combat Heavy
“Combat Heavy” games emphasize the combat mechanics within their systems over roleplay or puzzle solving. There are frequent and longer battles with enemies and a greater emphasis on tactical game play.
Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.

How to prepare
You will need a Discord account and working microphone webcam is optional. Also access to Owlbear Rodeo a free service. An account the free one is fine with D&D Beyond.
What I provide
My DM/GM style will bring the story to life for you. I follow more the rule of cool when it comes to the game with tactical combat situations and all dice rolls against you will be seen, no fudging of rolling. We will use the Virtual table top (VTT) Owlbear Rodeo which will have all of the maps for you to play along on as well I use custom made tokens for monsters and your character. We will use D&D Beyond for character creation and character sheets this is then linked to my Discord server so you can check spells, action details and see dice rolls live in the game. You only need to sit back relax and your off on an adventure. Oh and 'Don't forget your snacks.'
Gameplay details
Players can expect an action packed game with use of Owlbear Rodeo as a visual tool to assist combat and dungeon mapping. The game is a live game played on Discord and uses Owlbear Rodeo for VTT with D&D Beyond linked to show all dice rolls from character sheets using Avare.
