About the adventure

Ongoing campaign filled with mystery, fun roleplay, wacky players, deep plot, character-focused stories, open world, and always easy to jump into. Any race or class allowed, due to the world. “Convergence: A New Era” takes place in my homebrew campaign world, Toa. This is a customized and adaptive level 2-20 campaign. Hero, you have been called. Will you answer? Take on the mantle of the gods’ powers or deny them, your task is the same. The darkness has arisen and must be held back or the world above will perish. The world of Toa is inspired by my childhood JRPGs like Chrono Trigger and Cross, Final Fantasy, the Legend of the Dragoons, and others. In this world, heroes of all types band together to hold back the dark and twisted creatures that emerge from The World Below while political intrigue, rivalry, and a burgeoning economy combat for your attention in The World Above. The gods have lost their powers and rely on heroes to protect the world. Take up their power and represent a god's house, or deny them entirely. The choice is yours! GODLY SESSION 0: Starting in Session 0, our players took a seat at The Council of the Gods. During this mini-game, they decided how the universe ended, converging into the new world. From these sessions, our players created two new playable races, the cactus race called Kaktai and another based on Final Fantasy, and two subclasses called Slimemancers. You will be tasked with joining the Tower Guild to protect your homeland, or for the many advantages being a member brings. This new world is young and mysterious. Will you shape it or will it shape you?
