Creating your character
The only big role-play work that will be asked is a simple background description you make up and in the group chat talk discuss 1+ element of your relationship with the other Player Characters and they can be (P)ublic or (S)ecret. This is just to help with in-game talk and easy character relationships. Examples: (P)"We both love sharing jewelry we collect and wear", (P)"The bard *blank* is our favorite and will go crazy to see them", (P/S)"before bed, we have a friendly duel or bet which settles who will be the group's mouthpiece for the following day", (P/S)"We are *blank* family members to each other", (S)"I hate *blank's* whistling but a single day without it would be a melancholy one"
5 Level Adventure The adventure begins in the town of Alarcan. It’s eerily quiet and strangely subdued. Strangers are eyed with suspicion, and no children roam the streets. People and children have gone missing from their village, and it’s up to the players to track their captors back to Faerie and figure out what to do with them. Will they bring the villagers back to the difficult lives the fae had saved them Possible 2nd session
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A webcam is preferable but not needed, a mic is better but anything that's not clearly broken or scratchy is my only requirement. On a device do have access to a PDF of the player's handbook if not owned. When your character sheet is done send me a picture/screenshot/copy. Every level up I'll ask for a new picture just in case I forget an item I gave you or to calculate encounters correctly. Bring dice. Remember bad roles make the good ones better, work on the honor system. If you are having a bad day, week, or even an hour before please mentions to me in vagueness or detail if you are upset. Dnd is a destresser and escape there is no need for me to add to it. I'm not a therapist, but I'll try to be a https://open.spotify.com/track/6l8EbYRtQMgKOyc1gcDHF9?si=ba0a2b80bd1f4c83 .

Game Time: -During the game, I will recognize all communication as in-game unless stated explicitly verbally or by raising your hand and crossing one's fingers as a sign of metagame talk/questioning the GM. -I like to play with temporary boons, like inspiration, these may be more specific and better than advantage I hand these out when you interact with a party member in an inspiring, cute, or awesome way that leads your their success (Ex: If Gimli tossed the shield Legolas glided on down the stair in 2 Towers, I would give Gimili immunity to fall damage when jumping into the ranks of Uruki).
