The Shattered Obelisk [✨Beginner Friendly! 🏳️‍🌈Inclusive]

A fun guy and prepped to the gills with some great battle maps and all the lovely art you could want to immerse yourself in the world. (Not to stingy with cool magic items either)

I had a great time playing online with new people for the first time on StartPlaying. RC from Sunset Hollow was very welcoming and made sure that everyone had an enjoyable session. I highly recommend joining one of his games soon. After introducing ourselves, the game quickly became immersive thanks to RC's excellent storytelling skills.

RC was so patient with our group and really helped us to understand the mechanics of the game. He cared about our characters as much as we did and put such incredible effort into making tokens and fun side quests and little character growth moments for them. He also made online play so easy with all of his tips on streamlining roll 20 with dnd beyond, and made a discord room feel so immersive with his music choices and cool animated roll 20 assets.

RC utilized all our backstories and character motivations to keep us all hooked. I really appreciated the wealth of nuance and detail.

Our group lives in every time zone across the US, and we knew we wanted to spend time together virtually via DnD. Most of us are also queer, neurodivergent, and/or POC. RC has always been incredibly inclusive, and worked hard to create a safe space for both us and our characters to grow. He has great background and stories to his campaigns, and it is clear he puts the effort into each session. Really love playing with him as our DM!!!

RC is very inclusive and makes sure to take each player into consideration! He is very good at describing things and leaves his players some time to react to the current game settings. As my first experience as a player on StartPlaying, RC was definitely what I was hoping for as a DM, I strongly recommend!
