About the adventure
Description: The world is in peril. The once vibrant and lush ecosystems are experiencing a growing darkness that spreads across the landscape. Once picturesque lands fall to death and decay as a sinister blight spreads. This, in turn, has caused strife as kingdoms vie for control over resources to compensate for their losses. What causes the blight? Can it be stopped? And just what role do you play in the world? Will you work to save your home? Or will you ignore the looming threat? Theme: High Magic Fantasy JRPG Experience Level: Beginner (no experience required)
This game is expected to occur for 10 sessions (plus session 0) on alternating Saturdays, from 4 - 7 pm EST

How to prepare
A stable internet connection and a microphone are required to play. A webcam is a bonus, but not required to participate. I will provide a link to a Discord server which will contain resources (i.e. - rules) and guidelines for all players to review for the game. Players are expected to bring their own dice and excitement for the game. Paper and pen(cil) to take down notes or jot down ideas is encouraged and welcome. You are expected to prepare and provide a copy of your character sheet in PDF form, as well.
What I provide
I will provide some handouts (as they are needed) and access to the ruleset for players to review and read.
Gameplay details
Players are encouraged to add stars and wishes to our discord server, as well as debrief after game. We hold session 0's for the group and individual players as they are onboarded. We also periodically hold updates to these lists and ensure that everyone feels that they can inform of changes or concerns/suggestions that they have for the game.

How will character creation work
Characters will start at level 5. We will work to create them during a Session 0 and establish connections, bonds, and relations to other characters during this Session 0. I ask that players come to the planning session with at least a character concept prepared.
