About the adventure
Welcome to the Frigid North! Darkness has taken over the tundra and ancient secrets are getting exposed. Do you have what it takes to survive the Frostmaiden's icy grip in this adventure for new and old Dungeons & Dragons players? This adventure is in Icewind Dale, in the ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ป ๐ก๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ต section of the D&D maps. Who doesn't love the cold?? First, we adventurers have to learn about Ten Towns; and then we have to find some awesome relics. Then, bad things happen and we have to stop them. Twice! Next, we learn that we can't stop them. Finally, we learn that we can! It's a rollercoaster ride of emotion and excitement. Yes, that little blurb was pretty vague. I can't give you spoilers, can I? I've been a professional Dungeon Master for 4 years with more than 12,000 hours DMing on roll20. I DM'ed professionally with homeschool teens online (upwards of 16 campaigns per week). I am a 20-year Military Journalist Veteran who wanted to get into voice acting after retirement. Creating your character
The adventure begins at level 1. We will be playing on roll20.net; character sheets will be available as soon as you join up. You can start without me before the game if you like, but the first session will be a session zero in case we need to help new players get familiar with roll20 and building characters.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
I am going to create a discord channel for our game. We will join the game via a voice channel in there. You will need a mic and speakers (a headset works best, in my opinion). Roll20 supplies your character sheet and rolls all dice. You don't need anything extra to be able to play.
What DM Jingleheimer brings to the table
I will have everything you need to be successful in the game as long as you are able to connect via discord and have a roll20.net account.
Homebrew rules
Drinking a potion as a bonus action. You can use bonus actions spells with action spells.
