About the adventure
This is the best way to get into DnD 5e you will learn how the game works and have a great time exploring the city of Phandelver and the world beyond. Explore this introductory adventure to get started playing the world’s most fantastic roleplaying game. Meet Me in Phandalin. The characters are in the city of Neverwinter when their dwarf patron and friend, Gundren Rockseeker, hires them to escort a wagon to Phandalin. Gundren has gone ahead with a warrior, Sildar Hallwinter, to attend to business in the town while the characters follow with the supplies. The characters will be paid 10 gp each by the owner of Barthen’s Provisions in Phandalin when they deliver the wagon safely to that trading post.

I love board games and I have been playing them all my life first with my family and then with my friends, a co-worker of mine introduced me to D&D about a decade ago, and at first, I was not sure if I would like it but it wasn't long before I was hooked. What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please have a mic and headphones ready before our first session. There is no need to read the rules beforehand if you don't want to, but a free copy of the basic rules is included with a free account on https://www.dndbeyond.com/ if you would like to read them before hand. Each player needs a free dndbeyond account and a free roll20 account. It is helpful to have a discord account but not necessary.

How MIchael Gossage creates a safe table
This is a game for first-time players, so there are a lot of topics that will be explored. We will be using the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist to make sure that no topics are brought up that would cause issues. My X, N, O cards are digital and can be messaged to me privately. In session 0 we will be making Characters and going over expectations and going over the basic rules of the game.
