About the adventure
A new Dragon with a new Lair, Wednesday nights, 7pm Pacific! This will be a relatively straight-forward one-shot, with a pre-defined goal for your Party: You stand at the entrance of the Dragon's lair. You are a group of already-renowned, well-experienced heroes with your own personal reasons for wanting to slay the Dragon inside. Whatever your reasons are - a charge by King or Deity, a loved one held hostage, a lust for treasure and glory, a hatred of all Dragons, a hatred of this Dragon in particular, or loyalty to someone else in the Party - just make sure your character wants to, at this moment, slay the Dragon. Because that's what we're doing. Dragon type and age and lair will vary week by week.

About me
Hi, I'm Rose. I've been playing and GMing tabletop role-playing games for the past 20 years. D&D 3.5th, 4th, 5th; Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, 7th Sea, Tales From the Loop, Things From the Flood, Honey Heist, Lasers & Feelings, Crash Pandas, the Dark Souls RPG, The Quiet Year, and Electric Bastionland. I've run online games for groups of people I already knew, with Zoom and Shmeppy and such, but I'm new to running online games for complete strangers (and soon-to-be friendly acquaintances!)

Creating your character
You'll be playing D&D 5e Characters (level depending on the Dragon of the week in question), 27 Point Attribute Buy - just about anything from any 5e rulebook or supplement is fine. Feel free to make your character using whatever application or means you enjoy most, I'd just like a link, or a copy, etc. This is a very straight-forward Dragon slaying one-shot, so feel free to play as any Race/Class/Background normally allowed to players. Any purely cosmetic homebrewing is totally fine.
DRAGON OF THE WEEK: TYPHAXIUS, TYRANT OF THE TORRID TOMBOLO AN ADULT TOPAZ DRAGON, thriving in its well-secluded oceanside lair, with its oh-so-tantalizing hoard of plundered gold, silver, magical artifacts, ancient artwork, ornate jewelry, foreign luxuries, the weapons of lost heroes, the armor of fallen villains, emeralds, rubies, sapphires, diamonds, a shrunken ship trapped in a bottle, the soul of a Mermaid Princess trapped in a conch shell, and a massive framed painting of a giant squid wearing a monocle. The Lords of this coastal region, whether they be Human Monarch, Dwarven Expedition Leader, or Elven Enclave Ancient, are for once united in their desires: the indentured peoples of The Shores of Plenty call for the head of TYPHAXIUS. Legendary fame and glory await any heroes who can bring this DESSICATION-BREATHING TYRANT TO HEEL ONCE AND FOR ALL. LVL 13 27 Point Attribute Buy or Standard Array STARTING MAGIC ITEMS: 2 Very Rare, 2 Rare, and 2 Common
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll want to flesh out the stats for your D&D 5e characters as much as you can before starting the session. Just about anything in any 5e rulebook or supplement is fine, 27 point buy for Attributes. Cosmetic homebrew changes are totally fine. If you want more-than cosmetic homebrew, just ask me first. Feel free to make and host your character on whichever platform you'd like, just make sure I get a copy of your sheet, or a link! Character level and starting magic item limits will vary week per week. You don't need to know the rules of the entire game front to back - I just ask that you know the rules most pertinent to your character by the time we're playing, please and thank you!
What Rose brings to the table
I'll make a Lair map on Shmeppy, a simple map-making site that's free for players. There will be a dice-rolling app installed on the Discord server. You are also free to roll physical dice in real life, Honor System!
