About the adventure
Set in the Tempest Realms: https://www.worldanvil.com/w/the-tempest-realm-karlzone Lady Wednesday has arrived in the city of Biggityburg and is keen on starting her own adventuring guild. Do you have what it takes to join the Wednesday Knights? Wednesday Knights will be a series of one-shots (no commitment beyond a single one-shot required) where the players can select from a number of pre-built characters to quickly jump into the game. Once you pick a character that character is yours, meaning if you join a future one-shot in the series you can play the same character with all the loot and magic items they got from the other one-shots they participated in the series. Each one-shot is built to be completed in 1& 1/2 hours, but like all D&D games allow up to 3 hours as things can go off the rails. Each one-shot will have a clear goal to complete with, in most cases, an obvious route to complete the goal. Each session will contain combat (unless the players out smart me!) and some roleplay elements. The whole setup for these one-shots is that they should be easy for an experienced player to jump in with minimum preparation. We are also new player friendly, though I would suggest new players pick up a martial class.
Episode 4 of the Wednesday Knights series (no prior knowledge needed). The Wednesday Knights has been hired by a local merchant as security as he delivers Elvish Artifacts from Biggityburg to Rivercross. Join in this escort mission and face the challenges in this high energy, fast paced, and entertaining one-shot Pick from one of nine prebuilt characters to jump into this fast paced one-shot full of combat and shinanigans. Returning players are welcome to carry forward their existing characters or try someone new.

Additional details
How to prepare
The players will need a working microphone and access to discord and Roll20. I would recommend they log into Roll20 early to select a character (first-in first-served basis) and to check the Roll20 handout which will have details of which rules are in play, which rules are not, and what homebrew rules will be included to speed up combat. You are welcome to check out the World Anvil account about the setting: https://www.worldanvil.com/w/the-tempest-realm-karlzone
What I provide
Everything is supplies between Roll20, World Anvil, and Discord. The games are designed to be minimal pre-game preparation by the players.
Gameplay details
The games will be faced paced and to the point, each game focused on the quest provided in the introduction of the one-shot. Because of the setup of these games, everything will be run RAW (Rules As Written) with exceptions where ROC (Rule Of Cool) will be applied. The DM asks that as each player signs up to the game and gets invited to the group Discord to inform the DM of any potential triggering subject matters - that way the DM can adjust the one-shot or give the player the option to pull out of the game.

How will character creation work
The players will pick from a range of pre-built characters. There will be a range of at least 8 different characters built covering a range of classes, races, and backgrounds from the PHB and other resources. Returning players may carry on playing the same character complete with loot from earlier one-shots.
