About the adventure
*This is a cannabis and alcohol friendly table* The Sith are destroying themselves. The Jedi and the Republic debate the next moves to secure victory. Should the Sith be eradicated? Should those loyal to their dark Empire be given amnesty? Some even talk of disbanding the Republic Military completely. The Mandalorians, once allies to the Sith, now fight for the light under a new leader who is both Mandalorian and Jedi. What happens to this alliance when there is no longer a common enemy? Naturally such a power vacuum creates opportunities for merchants, pirates, smugglers, bounty hunters and all kinds of privateers to earn profit and power. Set a thousand years before the movies, in the final years before the rise of Darth Bane and the Rule of Two, Star Wars: Third Contact will explore the difficult choices that must be made to secure a new golden age. This will be a weekly game. We will take some holidays off and of course life happens to all of us, but skipped sessions will be rare, with as much notice as possible when they do happen. I intend for the game to last 1-2 years and reach level 20, but cannot guarantee any timeframe. Creating your character
Character sheets will be hosted on Roll20. It is recommended that Characters be made using the character creator at https://sw5e.com/tools/mycharacters and imported, but you use Roll20 alone if you prefer. We will use Point Buy abilities, average HP, and your choice of standard equipment or purchase with credits. Players may build characters ahead of time, or wait until Session Zero. If you choose to build early please be ready to make changes based on group consensus.
Weekly Sunday at 3:00 PM Eastern/Noon Pacific. As of December 5, 2025 party is level 16 and consists of Chiss Sawbones Operative/Sentinel, Human Meditation Sentinel (Jedi), Human Specialist Fighter/Engineer (Mandalorian), Tusken Blademaster Fighter, Zabrak Assault Specialist Fighter 🕵️♀️Amara Starborne, Chiss, Operative, Sentinel: An espionage specialist with a history that is unknown, even to her. Amara is seeking answers to who she is and where she came from. ⚔️Elac, Human, Jedi Consular: A quintessential Jedi Knight, Elac holds to the values of the Jedi Order, even as the Galaxy seems to fall into darkness all around him. 🔫Fenrir: Human, Enhancement Fighter: Fenrir is a Mandalorian warrior with an explosive personality. His clan was dishonored and now he seeks redemption and/or revenge. 🪖Satea, Zabrak, Assault Fighter: His companions have described him as "a walkinmg war machine." Republic Commando Satea brings his tactical know how to the table.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Your #1 priority is to have a working microphone, headset, and a stable internet connection. If you have those, I am always happy to help you through everything else. You will need access to Discord for voice chat. This can be on your computer or mobile device. Video chat is optional. You will need a free account on roll20.net. If you need help getting any of these set up, please contact me and I will be glad to help you out.
