About the adventure

The Missing Moment is the ubiquitous term for a period six months ago in which a rash of strange phenomena occurred around the world - countless sighting of "aildura" - elven teleportation portals or elf gates, radiating brilliant white light. Those that looked towards them saw something beckoning them inwards; loved ones, familiar places, nostalgia, treasure, fame. Few resisted, many never came back, and those that did - were forever changed. Come join 4 other would-be Gatewalkers as you explore your supernatural changes in an effort to reclaim your lost memories in the 3 months gap you were gone. About me

Hey there! I'm Apollo, and I've been playing tabletops off and on since the early 90s. I got back into the swing of playing online and dungeons and dragons 5th edition almost a decade ago, and switched to pathfinder 2nd edition head first after the OGL debacle. Now I'm addicted and want to help show you how awesome and not scary pathfinder 2e is. I enjoy pushing the narrative in a story while seeing how individual players and tables can change and adapt tellings to themselves. I've been running games on foundry for over 5 years at this point, so I'm very comfortable with the medium. I've run many groups full 1-20 campaigns, and some that are on their 3rd+ full campaign with me! My players should be self-reliant and motivated about their characters as we progress through a story. Unlike 5e, player agency to know what your character is capable of is required, so if this is your first foray into pathfinder 2e, come at it with only that expectation. "The GM will teach me the rules and how to play, but I am responsible for learning my character."

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters are made through pathfinder2e.com and sent to the DM. They will be imported into foundry based on and approved by the character concept sent to the DM from pathbuilder2e.com From there a Foundry program will pull the character into the VTT, character art/token is created and assigned, and then permissions adjusted to own the virtual sheet as its turned back over on the VTT to the player. At this point, armed with player's guide knowledge and completed sheet, you are ready to town down the dice at the table! That easy!

The current party

No one knows what happened exactly to all the Gatewalkers when they entered the Aiudara - or elf gates as they're more commonly known. The night became known as The Missing Moment - that collective evening across Golarion in which all the Aiudara all activated across the lands and beckoned those near to enter. Those that did disappeared - some for minutes, others days, more for weeks, and some - like yourselves - months... if they came back at all - they all came back changed, their bodies often showing signs of their new collective name - Gatewalkers - often with strange powers awoken within them. What you saw before entering was everything you wanted. And, in what felt like an instant, you came back with nothing, not a memory of what transpired. Your body was changed by the Aiudara, something within stirred, and the deep longing to get what was robbed from you back festered. You've banded together with a group of others like yourself - other Gatewalkers - under the head of a Ustalavic researcher by the name of Dr. Etward Ritalson. The mission is simple: a parallel phenomenon occurred the night of the missing moment, and Ritalson is sending you all to find out how its connected. When the Aiudara hummed to life - an ancient curse was broken in Sevenarches!
