About the adventure

Do you like mysteries and ship-based combat? Then set sail with me, as I guide you through the oceans of Greyhawk. Together we can explore the adventures present in the Ghosts of Saltmarsh sourcebook, battling on and under the sea. I loved running this in 2020 for my friends and I'd love to explore the themes in this adventure with you!

About me

Hi, I’m Kyle McCord! I’ve been playing TTRPGs for since early 2019, and I love running strange and funny games.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation can be handled during the session 0. I typically use D&D Beyond, Discord, and Roll20, but we can also discuss other methods for running the game.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Making sure everyone has Discord, D&D Beyond, and Roll20 accounts (or whatever platforms we discuss in session 0) setup before the first session would really speed up the game! They are welcome to use their own physical dice or to roll the virtual ones. Mic is required. Webcam isn't.

What Kyle brings to the table

I will bring a story that is build around your characters. I will take in-depth notes about the session and the involved characters. If there are other things you'd like me to offer, I'm open to discussing it at the session 0.

Safety

How Kyle creates a safe table

In terms of safety tools, I am willing to use whichever safety tools the players are comfortable with. We can discuss the in the session 0. In terms of gameplay, I prefer to build character-centric narrative stories. Combat comes second to the role-play aspects in my games. We can also adjust the mix on this, if you prefer a different type of game.
