About the adventure
The forges of the imperial city of Nuln produce the most needful of things - Fine steel, cannon barrels, handguns, armor. The tools that the brave men and women of the empire use to keep their homes safe against the tides of Chaos. But now they will be tested - a green ride rises to the south, and the Empire's greatest defenders are dealing with other threats. Nuln's walls are tall and it's cannons unmatched, but relief is far afield... And the danger will prove to not only lurk outside of Nuln's walls. ------------------------ The Siege of Nuln is a short campaign set in the besieged city. You will be playing a group of individuals - deputized by a witch hunter - to keep the less obvious threats to the city in check. Uncovering the deception your enemy weaves will be just as big a part of the game as battle or social elements. Be careful who you trust, because a wrong choice could spell the end for not just yourselves, but all of Nuln. What I provide
I'll be bringing a detailed map and overview of Nuln, canny enemies, twisted mysteries, and a terrified city on the verge of disaster.
Gameplay details
Players will make characters together in session zero, to be prepared for this game. Players should expect a wide range of challenges, favoring mysteries, and then short bouts of fast paced, very lethal combat. As the game goes on, players should expect the tone of the game to get darker and more desperate. There won't be many explicit descriptions, but the foes of the empire are foul, and a man who's family is starving is capable of barbaric things.

How will character creation work
Character creation will happen together and session zero. Players will be starting with enough bonus experience that you should be able to start at rank two, making you modestly more capable than a standard starting character.
