About the adventure

Welcome to Eberron! Get ready to dive into a world of endless possibility and variety. Do you want to delve deep in the Khyber-infested mines of the Mror Holds? Do you want to herd dinosaurs on the Talenta Plains? How about solving a murder mystery in the sprawling vertical expanse of Sharn? New and veteran roleplayers alike are welcome to my table. We'll be trekking through a variety of character-driven adventures; only you can decide where we go next!

How to prepare

You will need a webcam and a mic and a relatively functional personal computer (Foundry VTT needs a reasonable amount of screen real estate as well). Video will be handled by Foundry but we'll keep discord as a backup. You will need to make a free account on the Forge (https://forge-vtt.com/). If you want to see if your setup with foundry will work you can check out their web demo on the site (https://foundryvtt.com/). I won't necessarily be using all the features presented (it can be bandwidth heavy) but it's a good demo. You'll be able to use digital dice through DnD Beyond and through Foundry if you'd like, though physical clicky-clacks are much more fun. Come with a few character ideas; we'll go over character creation and introductions as a group in session 0. Sheets will be handled through DnD Beyond.

What I provide

I've got battlemaps galore! Anything I don't have I can probably make pretty easily. I'll be linking people through the campaign to my content on DnD Beyond, so you can read more about the setting if you would like to. I'm providing access to my Foundry VTT tabletop through the Forge (it's a free account for you). The quality of life addons on that platform are extraordinary. Additionally we can bust out some music if people are interested.

Gameplay details

For session 0 I'll be sharing and going over a document outlining expectations and safety tools. All of my safety tools will be digital, either through the VTT or another messaging or video platform. This time will also include character creation (to help build bonds between characters) and a short roleplay session if there's time.

How will character creation work

We'll be starting the adventure as level 3 characters. Character creation will happen together during session 0 (through DnD Beyond), to help establish bonds between the characters in-game. Please come with a few ideas for characters. If you want to get started on DnD Beyond before the first session that can be helpful as well!
