About the adventure
A basic run through for the adventure "Lost Mines of Phandelver". A great way to get started playing if you have never played before, and a fun way to get back into D&D if you've stopped. I like to run fun games while incorporating your characters into the narrative. I want your character to feel alive when your playing in the session. The game gets better when you choose to play your rather than just talk, so don't be afraid to "become" your character because that's what this game is all about. Don't be afraid to ask questions, and remember, do you really want to split the party?

About me
I'm a friendly DM, always trying to get better with each session. I'm patient and more than happy to take the time to explain what's going on, or just answer any questions you have. I run fun games, I don't try to bog things down with rules, and my games only become better when you participate, so pick up that character sheet, grab those dice, and roll for initiative!

Creating your character
Preferably before the 1st session, but we can make it at the start together if you're having trouble. Everyone starts at lvl 1, and will grow at a milestone rate.
Ideally it'll be weekly, but I can attempt to schedule it to meet your needs
What to expect
Preparing for the session
At least have a working mic working so that everyone can communicate. If you don't have a Webcam or not comfortable with one, that's okay. I will be using discord to run and manage the session. You don't have to use dndbeyond to make a character, but it would help. The dice rolling will be digital through discord. You don't need to fully understand the rules, that's what I'm here for.
What Roger brings to the table
I will set up and manage the sessions, provide any relevant digital media like maps or images, have a post-game session if y'all would like, and anything else that comes up

How Roger creates a safe table
I'm trying to be as true to life as I can, like the need to eat, shop, interacting with the party, etc. I like to keep combat fun and flowing
