About the adventure
You and your coworkers have done your share of adventuring and low-paying mercenary work, but the promise of a steady wage and some health benefits (well...the occasional potion) had you go into food service instead. But it seems like your tavern, The Red Shoes, is the constant target of danger, and when your local adventurers are too tipsy to tourney, it may just be time for some seasoned pros turned bar staff to fight for what's right. This game is played in a homebrew world known as Romythra, which is based on fairy tales and folk tales. Your characters can be based on a character from a myth or story. I run a collaborative table and like to ensure that everyone's voice feels heard. I always use consent sheets, session 0's, and the X system to make sure everyone is comfortable and ready at the table; this includes the use of lines and veils. Lastly, I love to build my stories around what you bring me. It's *our* adventure!

About me
Like many others, I was thrust into the arms of D&D during the height of the pandemic, and I now have a 3 year old homebrew world that I would love to share with all of you! I encourage character driven story, collaborative storytelling, and safe game spaces. If you're interested in a fun mix of comedy, drama, and action and have a taste for fairy tales and folk lore, I might just be the GM for you.

Creating your character
Characters should be level 10. They should be created and honed during our session 0. You may come with ideas and ask me about them before we have our session 0.
This is a oneshot taking place at 5pm CT on April 30th. You will be a retired adventurer who now works in a friendly local tavern...only to realize that the new adventurers are useless against the current threats against your beloved workplace. A great game for creative RP and group shenanigans!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a webcam and mic and your own dice and character sheet, using platforms or paper, whatever you are comfortable with. Digital rolling or physical dice are both fine.
What Jocelyn a.k.a The Tipsy Tiger brings to the table
I will have maps on Roll20 for us to play on.

How Jocelyn a.k.a The Tipsy Tiger creates a safe table
I will send the Gehenna style Consent Forms that uses the green/yellow/red system for all triggers. In Session 0, we will go over these triggers and also discuss the game before doing a brief roleplay session with some combat to get used to each other and my GM style. It also is okay if you determine my table is not for you. My X, N, and O's are messaged to me privately; that way, you do not need to show everyone, just me. Aftercare is spent debriefing over video, and music can be suggested and played as we relax.
