About the adventure

The High Council of Aresmond has requested the presence of professional delvers or adventurers who are willing to go down into a newly opened cavern. An earthquake has shifted the land in this area and exposed a fresh entrance. The council is offering 1 uncommon magic item (restricted below) from the council's private armory as a helping hand for the excursion, an exclusive permit to these caverns and 3000 gold per member upon returning with samples, to those willing to go down and prospect under the king's behalf. However, these new caverns can come with extreme danger, they are asking for the most experienced and/or the most well trained from the surrounding area. Cavern collapses are of great concern in newly found systems as well as possible other dangers that possibly lay within the cave itself. The players are given passage to the cavern system, and find themselves on foot being led by a guide into the wild forest. She is a kenku named Fire Crackle (She speaks her name like the sound of crackling fire) and is under pay by the council of Aresmond, she is friendly enough but is serious about her task. UNCOMMON MAGIC ITEM RESTRICITON: - any 1 uncommon magic weapon or armor of choice, however, you may ask me in discord for another specific uncommon magic item in place of a weapon or armor, but I will review them first.

Gameplay details

I will be using a combination of the Open Door and X,N,O cards. this allows any player to remove themself from content that may unknowingly come up, or they may say or type a card to the DM, and we will change things from there. We will go over the saftey tools at the beginning of the game and any hard lines that may come up within the game. How will character creation work

Players will create their characters at Level 8 using the point buy system. Character sheets will be created before the game starts using D&Dbeyond (no content supplied), an MBMP character sheet, or by contacting me (Spooky) on the discord server to manually import or create a character sheet. If you are contacting me about a manual import you must contact me at least 1 hour before the game begins. - Character Restrictions: - No Eberron, Dragonlance, or Spelljammer content, unless otherwise contacted, provided with resource and verified. - Tasha's Cauldron Custom Background is allowed. - Level 8 character - No power-game combos please (Infinite spells, infinite gold, etc.)
