About the adventure

In Alkenstar, a city located in the Mana Wastes, there's a woman looking for some hands to rob the bank of a particular dick. She's rounded you up because she's heard you've got a personal grudge against said dick, or the corrupt Deputy Loveless on his payroll. Ambrost Mugland's wallet is about to be hurting, assuming you're up to the task. This is Chapter 1 of 3 of the Punks in a Powder Keg adventure, which is the 1st Adventure of 3 in the Outlaws of Alkenstar Adventure Path.

About me

GM for over 10 years. Homebrewed systems, Pathfinder, D&D (3.5 & 5E), Star Wars Edge of the Empire, Shadowrun, etc. Went to school for game design. GM'd for groups from 1 to 15 people at a time. I make sure the players have a good time; I follow pre-written adventures/modules to the punctuation, with leeway if requested; Excellent improv; I'm told my voices are good/fun; And I treat DMing like a full career, pouring hours of work into session prep. Feel free to ask me for details of games I run before signing up.

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters begin at level 1. Using the Pathfinder2E rules, with some slight alterations/variant rules (Gradual Ability Boosts, Dual-Class PCs <maybe>, Free Archetype <maybe>, Stamina). Players will be able to make their characters on Roll20 &/or paper &/or Digitally if they wish, and can receive help &/or ask questions about their characters &/or game at any time after sign-up.

The current party

Pathfinder Society Sanctioned Adventure, meaning once all 3 chapters are completed you get a Chronicle Sheet and rewards for the Organized Play! In the Outlaws of Alkenstar Adventure Path, you assume the roles of wanted criminals who must operate outside the law to earn their fortunes and freedom. Your ultimate goal is twofold: clear your name, and also seek revenge against the villain responsible for your ruined reputation. Foebe Dunsmith has promised you a shot to do exactly this, by hittomg Ambrost Mugland where it hurts him most—the wallet. She’s invited you to the Barrel & Bullet Saloon tonight to enjoy this week’s episode in a serial of plays titled Hearts at High Noon. She'll invite you into a backroom to discuss details of the job after the show.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

A microphone isn't required but would be an asset. It's Bring Your Own Character! But also I can provide pre-made characters if requested. We're playing online, so dice are all virtual on Roll20. If you make a paper version of your character I request images of the sheet, just for my reference and secret skill checks.

What Jean brings to the table

Game is all online. I wish I could provide cool props and takehome stuff, but after I register properly with the Pathfinder Society: Your characters might be eligible for Pathfinder Society Organized Play, and keep particular rewards earned during the adventure!
