About the adventure
A group of Goblin Bandits are getting ready to rob a train and kidnap a captivating performer! The party aims to stop the train-jacking and capture the bandits for the bounty. Things get a little more complicated when the undead mafia, headed up by Alcabone plans to intercede. "There's gold in them hills, I just know it." That's what you said when you left civilized comforts behind. And through the red backed sand spiders, headless horsemen, desperate bandits and deathsquitos, that's what keeps you going. It's out there. Somewhere. This game will blend fantasy, superstition, a dash of steampunk, and the Wild West. Semi-episodic adventures will build into a larger story as the adventurers help the town of Stonecutterr's Pass. Along the way they just might find the long lost source of power for the Magical Machinations of Antikythera or the Fabled Mythril City.
With four friendly players already on board, we are looking for 1-2 additional players to join us on our campaign. Our party is now investigating a series of missing person's in the town of Stonecutter's Pass. Clues seem to lead back to the local red light house. Will the party recover the sheriff? What's really going on here? Only the dice may know!

Players are recommended to have a webcam, but not required. Players must have Discord for voice communication, as well as a PC with Chrome or Firefox for Foundry (Safari and mobile devices typically do not handle Foundry well.)
What I provide
Foundry premium software, a massive collection of premium and custom maps, unique animations for abilities, years of experience, Voicemod Pro (which I'm still learning to use) and Midjourney AI + Adobe CS if you'd like help making a custom PC token.
Gameplay details
I think that 5e is a great and fun system...but it needs a little push to make it great. I use a custom set of rules to help make combat a touch more tactical, and give the player some fun extra options and buffs. I've been using these rules with multiple groups for years and they love the extra flexibility their character's get! As a result I can throw varied and exciting encounters at my players and they have the tools to challenge them. While mechanically I put a lot of emphasis on the combat side, I love the unique and interesting character's that I plan to bring to life within this upcoming Weird and Wild West campaign. Improv and and acting are something I think makes DnD so much more than just a simple game. We will be doing a session 0 in which we discuss table etiquette and house rules, as well as reviewing any hard line issues that players do not want to discuss. This is not an overly gory or violent campaign, but as it is inspired by the American West, and a DnD game ultimately about fighting monsters, we will have events that push our character's to action, and those events are rarely pretty. Sexism, Racism, and Homophobia, while historically part of the Wild West are to be avoided within the game world when possible, and are a 0 tolerance over the table/outside of the game world. (Do not have an Orc character who rants about "savage" elves for example.)
