Under a raging storm cloud He stood, a lone figure silhouetted against ancient walls. A cold, bitter wind spins dead leaves about him, billowing his cape in the darkness. He turns to the sky, revealing the angular muscles of his face and hands. His once handsome face is contorted by a tragedy darker than the night itself. He turns his gaze back to the village. Far below, yet not beyond His ken, he sees you, a party of adventurers, have just entered His domain. His face forms a twisted smile as His dark plan unfolds. He knew you were coming, and He knows why you have come. Why all such parties come - all according to His plan. He has seen you, and what He has seen He has told me.

I’m Michael. I run D&D 5e using Foundry and “specialize” in Curse of Strahd which is a published, vampire Gothic horror adventure that I use as a framework onto which to attach custom content. I’ve created an immersive environment using beautiful maps, soundscapes, as well as visual and audio effects including animations. All games are family-friendly, akin to a movie with a "PG-13" rating. Want to kill an entire Orc camp? Not a problem! However, in game play I don't allow discrimination on the basis of religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, family status, genetic characteristics or disability. This is a 2SLGBTQ2+ positive space. Prospective players will meet with me prior to game play. This campaign has not yet begun. There will be one or two meetings with me, Day -1 and Day 0 respectively, in which we will meet and create your characters (at a time of mutual agreement). There is no charge for Day -1 or Day 0.

How to prepare
1. Discord, a working microphone and a quiet place free of ambient noise. 2. Computer A. Minimum Requirements - Relatively modern computer running Windows 10, macOS Big Sur (or newer), or Linux operating systems, with support for 64-bit architecture. - An integrated GPU to enable hardware acceleration. - 8GB of RAM - A monitor no smaller than 1366x768. At this minimum resolution many aspects of the UI will feel cramped. - A modern web browser like Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Edge with hardware acceleration enabled. (Safari is not a supported browser at this time). B. Recommended Specifications - Relatively modern computer running Windows 10, macOS Big Sur (or newer), or Linux operating systems with support for 64-bit architecture. - A dedicated GPU which supports WebGL 2.0. - 16GB of RAM - A monitor with 1920x1080 or higher resolution. - A mouse. You can use the software with a touchpad but the current software is designed for mouse and keyboard. - Chrome or a Chromium-based browser provides an experience closest to the FVTT desktop application.

How will character creation work
Character creation happens on Day 0 (no charge). The DM will contact you beforehand to discuss the setting. You should have an idea of your character class and race, ability scores will be rolled on-line.
