About me

I've been playing D&D since the late 80s and have been DMing 5e since 2019. I've DM'd 10 complete campaigns. My goal is to provide the best possible player-centred experience: - Want to spend five sessions in the tavern, chatting with locals? Not a problem, the ale is cheap and good; - Are you a combat ninja optimized for dealing death? Carve your swath of destruction my friend and progress from zero to hero in no time. Foundry VTT, soundscapes and animations are my jam - when used correctly, they help immerse you in the story and provide the best possible situational awareness for you to navigate carefully!

GM style

My DM style is to ensure that my players are having fun. Using Foundry VTT the atmosphere is immersive - you see what your character sees, you hear what the character hears... I play Rules as Written (RAW) unless Jeremy Crawford has tweeted anything to the contrary. I am also flexible - want to play a mermaid? No problem, we'll re-skin a triton. All games are family-friendly, akin to a movie with a "PG-13" rating. Want to kill an entire Orc camp? Not a problem! However, in game play I don't allow discrimination on the basis of religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, family status, genetic characteristics or disability. This is a 2SLGBTQ2+ positive space.
