About the adventure
A living breathing world, ripe and ready for adventuring. After a multi-planar cataclysmic event all that stands is one city in the center of the world, Last Bastion. Nobody has been outside of the city for as long as anyone can remember. This city contains all races/professions/social classes/etc.Play by text (in discord) campaign. Go anywhere, do anything, be anybody, stop the second apocalypse..... you know, hero stuff!

About me
TLDR: Improvisation, Theater of the mind, I love this! I primarily run games in person and use the theater of the mind, now i can also run text based games on discord. I have a great handle on the mechanics and have an improvisational style to world building. I have tons of lore and info just waiting to be uncovered, let's build even more together! I host games because I have a passion for them, the comradrie, stories, and the folks I game with as well! I like feedback so I can both improve my DM skills (ever growing), and improve your enjoyment in the hobby! In the end I can understand that not every player will enjoy the style of play I provide but I want to make it the best experience I can for the people that do! Creating your character
modified point buy system: Starts at level 1 all attributes start at 10 and you may distribute 25 points where you see fit. you can take away from one to get more points for another. (ex: taking strength down to 9 from 10 will give you 1 additional point to place where ever) Use any race, class, and background that will bring you the most joy to play. Stats are a modified point buy. everything starts at a base of 10 and you have 25 points to spend where ever you like. Example: Dwarf STR:10 +6 points spent =16 STR DEX:10 +2 points spent =12 DEX CON:10 +2 (racial) + 4 points spent = 16 CON WIS:10 +3 points spent = 13 WIS INT:10 +4 points spent = 14 INT CHR:10 +6 points spent - 16 CHR
Join the text based D&D! It will be full of all kinds of adventures. You'll come up against creatures and/or problems you've never experienced before! I always try to keep it exciting. you play when you can, on lunch break, bathroom break (I won't tell), or any other time you can think of, As long as you post something once every 24 hours. This campaign will be played via discord over text. This is done to ensure quality control, I live with 3 rather loud children. I adore them but I'd rather not have to many interruptions, or immersion breaking background noises. Yes this is free, yep the whole campaign! All i ask is that you give me an honest review of your experience.

Preparing for the session
Be ready to roll dice/use roller, be ready to have fun, make sure you write All of your character details down/have it available in your chosen app. I don't ask for perfection, but I do ask for effort.
What Aaron brings to the table
I bring the world, rules, fun, sandbox, sand, easy to talk to atmosphere, open dm policy, bending of rules as cool steps in, and other things i forgot to mention. Even New and never before seen monsters, NPCs, and Dungeons!

Skill checks don't always auto succeed on nat 20. Crits are double max damage Resistance + resistance = immune

How Aaron creates a safe table
Should be safe for most ages. Swearing and light adult themes (drinking, character backstory, etc). My aim is to make this enjoyable, not a trigger fest. you should have a fun time and walk away satisfied with what has happened in game!
