About the adventure
A new era is upon the vampires of Prague. After the disasterous Second Convention of Prague, followed by multiple werewolf and Anarch attacks, nearly the entirety of the Camarilla's upper echelon has been destroyed. From the ashes, a new Prince - a neonate - climbs the rank and claims Praxis; once again proving that in these uncertain times, power is attainable to any young Kindred who is clever and resourceful enough to achieve it. With the Ivory Tower destabilized, the Second Anarch Revolt becomes a more dangerous threaet in the Golden City, while monsters of claws and fangs lurk in the slums and the woods, hiding, waiting for their time to strike. Prague has swallowed great ones before; who will you be? What is your vampire story? You might want to tell it, before the city consumes you whole. "Vampire: The Masquerade - Prague By Night" is a tale of intrigue, politics, love and mysteries. In this Chronicle, you will be taking the role of neonates; young Vampires with some understanding of the world around them, having been through a lot more compared to the fledglings of the city. You will discover occult secrets, deal with street level politics, solve ancient prophecies, combat existential threats, try to survive each night as paranoia stalks your every step, maintain the Masquerade; all the while trying to combat the nefarious Beast within you; urging you to hunt, to drink human blood, to kill and restart every single night. Will you be able to keep holding onto your Humanity? Will you be able to crush your enemies? Uncover centuries old plots? Will you rule the night, or will you perish like so many before you has? Let's find out together.
- As a GM, I enjoy games that lean more into a linear style of story telling; with one thing leading to another. The city of Prague is yours to explore in a sandbox-like experience, and I'm always willing to stretch and bend my story so you can fully enjoy what the world has to offer for you; but it is important to remember that your actions will be remembered and have consequences, and the story will eventually catch up with you. - One more important note: I put more emphasis in character growth, stories and development rather than dice rolling. I understand the magic math rocks are very pretty and we all love to roll them, but I always prioratize the narrative, and I like the rule of cool without going overboard. So, if you are expecting a game of only dice rolling, combat and minimum roleplay - I respect your choice, but I'm probably not the right GM for you. If you enjoy creating a collaborative story at the table and like to see your characters grow and change over time and roleplay with myself as well as your fellow players, then look no further! - Please include a brief introduction for yourselves and what kind of character you are hoping to play in the setting when applying for the game. How to prepare
🎤 A decent microphone is a must. 🔊A Discord account (free to register). 🎲 Roll20 account (for the table. Also free to register). 📄 Detailed but brief backstory (1 to 3 pages should suffice). 🎓 Beginners are welcome; I will explain the rules and the system as we play. 📷 Cameras are optional, but highly encouraged, as I believe seeing each other enhances our roleplay.

Gameplay details
I tend to go mostly by the rules stated in rulebooks but I may occasionaly bend them or tweak them to help players feel a bit more versatile with the powers/skills they possess or increase the difficulty of encounters to challenge them. This game is going to be a balance between fast paced, often violent action and political manuevering and intrigue. I will provide a consent form which will mostly cover lines and veils, and during session 0 we will talk about your consent with other players regarding how you wish to interact with them.

How will character creation work
I require a detailed but brief backstory filled with your character's mortal life, their Embrace, Kindred nights, their touchstones, how they tend to interact with others around them and how they tend to interact with their Beast or view it to appropriately roleplay it when the time comes. Arranging stats and dots will happen during Session 0, and the entire process will done cooperatively, but I very much expect you to at least get down some key details. I'm more than happy to help you with the finer ones along the line, share ideas and help you customize them to your liking.
