Gameplay details

The 1st session will be primarily be didactic and then discussion as we co-create our game and create our characters. The 2nd session will involve heavy role-playing and a skill challenge story based game. The 3rd session will involve mostly combat and tactics with light role-playing. The 4th session will be a full mini-adventure involving all the concepts covered in the first 3 sessions. Characters are quite unlikely to die, but the StartPlaying system requires at least one content warning. So, if the player really wants their character to go out in a dramatic fashion, then their death is certainly a possibility. This series is designed for those with no or little role-playing/D&D experience. There will be a check-in and a check-out after each game and time for questions.
