About the adventure
In the middle of the Sword Coast lies Waterdeep, Faerun's largest city. It is a vast cosmopolitan metropolis, known for its beauty and culture. But underneath the city is a dark secret. Dungeon of the Mad Mage is an epic adventure that takes the party from level 5 all the way to level 20. This adventure is an elaborate, epic dungeon crawl. Beneath Waterdeep lies Undermountain. A vast dungeon complex constructed by the insane archmage Halaster Blackcloak. The party delves in to make their fortune and uncover its secrets as they plumb its increasingly strange and deadly depths. There may be horrible beasts down there, but at least Halaster himself is long dead. We hope.

About me
I have been DMing for several years, and, quite simply, I love the game. I love building a story together with others. I love doing the voices of a million NPCs. I love the dumb jokes that just sort of happen around the table. Outside of gaming, I am a professional actor. My background is in improv and sketch comedy. So taking on a variety of different, interesting characters IS my wheelhouse. Let's get together and make something excellent happen.

Creating your character
Character creation will occur before your first session. I will communicate with you personally to help get you set up and build your character. We will be building them through D&D Beyond, through which I have content sharing activated. I encourage the use of official Wizards of the Coast character options, but am willing to take a look at third party content and will allow it if it seems balanced.
Party is currently level 16. Party currently consists of a Wizard, Sorcerer, Paladin, Warlock/Rogue, and Fighter/Bard/Paladin.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a working webcam and mic. Some familiarity with game rules is encouraged, though I'm happy to help newer players. Players will also need to have accounts on D&D Beyond, Discord, and Roll20, though free accounts on all 3 are fine, any features that require payment, I can supply. Dice are encouraged, but digital dice are available through both Roll20 and D&D Beyond.
What Tim brings to the table
I will have a fully set up campaign on Roll20 complete with Battlemaps. I will have content sharing active on D&D Beyond.
