About me
Hello Adventurer! 🧙♂️ 34 he/him ⚔️ My name is Teague Urquhart and I am a Game Master and super fan of Tabletop Role Playing Games! 📖 I have been a player of Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) since 2018 and took up the mantle of Game Master (GM) later that same year. I love story-telling and aim to provide my groups with a solid narrative that can be explored and built upon. I'm always seeking to better my work and provide more immersive and entertaining experiences for my players. 🧑🏫 I am also a Educator and have worked in the field with youth for the past 6 years. I bring this patience and supporting skill set to my games. 🥾 I hike, forage, bird watch, and bushcraft as hobbies and bring this natural knowledge into my games to life. 🗣 Communication with my groups is ongoing and constructive to help new players explore the immersive worlds that TTRPGs have to offer without feeling like they have to learn everything the game has to offer on the first day. I am also a practitioner of Non-Violent Communication (NVC) and utilise its techniques in my games. 📲 I also run a Roleplaying Discord Server with community of over 400 people.

Creating your character
- Point Buy level 6 Dungeon and Dragons 5th Edition Characters. - One piece of non-magical armor of your choice (plus a shield, if desired), two non-magical weapons of your choice (or three weapons, if they are dual-wielding), plus 100 gp to purchase other adventuring gear and a single uncommmon magical item from a list I have available to players who join. - More information to come in Discord server!

What to expect
Preparing for the session
- You will need a microphone and some form of headphones - You will need to have a Discord and Roll 20 account (both are free) - A way to create a character. I encourage players to use D&D Beyond(https://www.dndbeyond.com/) and the Beyond 20 Chrome Extension (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/beyond-20/gnblbpbepfbfmoobegdogkglpbhcjofh?hl=en) to integrate player characters with the campaign. If using D&D Beyond you will have access to all the books I own to create your character. If you are unfamiliar with D&D Beyond contact me and I can give you a brief run through prior to Session 0). You may also want to run pencil and paper with physical dice or a Roll 20 character

How Game Master Teague creates a safe table
This one-shot has some disturbing and graphic content. If you are potentially triggered by elements of murder, torture, mind control, and body horror please reach out to me about working around or entirely avoiding these elements. Before the game: I will be around for 30 minutes before the game to chat with players and help them get set-up. During the game: We will take a break around the 1 hour mark to relax for 5 minutes. At any point in the game you may come across triggering content. Please ask to pause and we will discuss the content and how to continue.
