About the adventure
Hello Adventurer! 🧙‍♂️ For centuries, rumors of buried riches have attracted treasure seekers and opportunists to the area around Phandalin, but no one has ever succeeded in locating the lost mine. In recent years, people have resettled the area. Phandalin is now a rough-and-tumble frontier town. More important, the Rockseeker brothers — a trio of dwarves — have discovered the entrance to Wave Echo Cave, and they intend to reopen the mines. You and your fellow adventurers have been hired by a dwarf named Gundren Rockseeker, to escort a wagon to Phandalin. Gundren has gone ahead with a warrior, Sildar Hallwinter, to attend to business in the town while you follow with the supplies. In this beginner friendly campaign, we'll explore the world of Dungeon and Dragons, while also seeing what unlikely paths your characters will take along the way.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hi Everyone! Thank you for considering me as your Dungeon Master. I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons off and on for over 20 years, and have taken turns dungeon mastering for family and friends for over 5 years now. I've been an avid table top gamer ever since I was able to pick up a set of dice, and there's nothing that is more fun the enjoying a good game with friends. I promote a fun and light hearted game, where you can be one among friends at the table.

Creating your character
Players will need to create characters through D&D Beyond using point buy. We'll start with level 1 characters and will be able to import them into foundry. You will then be able to level up your characters in D&D Beyond. If you need help in creating a character, I can help with this, or if you would like a pregenerated character I can provide one.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need to have a mic, and a discord account where we will be communicating. A webcam is recommended but is not required. You'll also need a computer, Foundry VTT will be accessed through the web browser. It is recommended (but not required) that you watch this short tutorial on using Foundry VTT, as it will be the software that is used for play - https://shor.at/bt3ys94l
