About the adventure
Hey DnD Beginners! My name is Jukes and I am looking to be your guide into the wonderful world of TTRPG's more specifically Dungeons & Dragons 5e in this scenario. We will be playing the iconic starter pack campaign The Lost Mines of Phandelver to get our feet under us while navigating the rules of Dungeons and Dragons. I will walk you from beginning to end from character sheet building to rolling our first sword swings and spells. Not a new player but just want to play the module? NO PROBLEM! As long as you are willing to be patient with other players at the table then all are welcome :)

About me
I'm Brent, a Vancouver concept artist specializing in infusing each prop, character, and element with unique components that build deep storytelling. Through years of dedicated research (aka watching a lot of anime and playing a lot of Dungeons & Dragons), I know that the tiniest detail can be crucial for your saga or character. I play DnD regularly both as a DM and as a player, and love to get into the details of storytelling and character design. When you work with me, you can expect deep integration of character backstories into the main arc or a design of your choice. Games I run are built for fun and creativity and don't need to follow every rule in the rule book (unless requested, of course). I prioritize including everyone's character and adding just the right amount of drama to keep it exciting.

Creating your character
We will all meet together on discord which we will use for voice chat and music a few days before the session for a session 0 where we will lay down some general ground rules as well as discuss character creation. I will explain the process of rolling for stats how to add it to roll 20 or if you have DnD beyond that is also okay I will teach you how to add the proper google chrome exstensions. I will try to take pieces of your characters back stories to add a little bit of personal flavor for you in the story as well. Having a hard time coming up with a character or don't have the time? No problem I can make one for you and send it to you in via discord a day or two before with a blurb on your characters backstory for roleplay purposes. Custom character cartoon tokens are also available if wanted.
We will be playing every Wednesday via foundryvtt for maps and Discord for chats!

What Brent (Jukes) Jukic brings to the table
I want to make this a memorable journey for beginners so I will do my best to provide voices for characters that breathe life in to NPC's. I have access to the sourcebooks and will assist in character creation if neccessary. I will make battles fun and fast paced using the virtual features at my disposal. I also like to draw a class picture style image of my players characters at the end of campaigns.
