About the adventure

At the beginning of the age, the Rune Born came together to form the archipelago. Sorcerers of unparalleled power the original 13 Rune Born reached into the sea and drug up the land. This was to create a safe place for all folk from the encroaching tide of monsters. Now centuries later the Council of 13 holds say over the islands and monsters still lay claim to the mainland. It is up to the brave, the desperate, and the lucky to venture there. That is not to say that life on the islands is easy. The Council of 13 is in constant shadow conflict of influence, wealth, and arcane power. Massive webs of criminal connections span the waterways and ports of each island dealing in everything from untaxed furniture to black-market organs for arcane research. Not to mention the occasional escaped experiment or creature, not of this plane that escapes onto city streets. Then on the mainland, there are murmurs from returning ships that something is riling up the monsters. It will take a daring group of will-be heroes in order to save the archipelago from threats both known and unknown. This is a campaign with many different areas to explore. It could be about wilderness explorers who brave the monster-infested mainland. Clever and resourceful city slickers navigate both the criminal and the political threats of the islands. A mix of the two or neither. I want to know what of the setting piqued your interest and build from there.

About me

I have been playing tabletops for over six years now. The biggest reason I am looking to become a professional DM is to justify the amount of time that I spend working on my craft as a dungeon master. I am currently looking nearing the end of my time at college and earning my degree in creative writing. In my opinion, Tabletop games are one of the most engaging forms of storytelling, and there is little else in the world that I enjoy more. I am a very flexible DM who believes that the purpose of the game is to engage in collaborative storytelling. With that in mind, one of my primary goals is to make any game I am running a safe and comfortable space for all of my players.

Character creation

Creating your character

The characters will be made in 5e dungeons and dragons. Characters will need to be level 3 and created on dnd beyond. All official races and classes are aloud without question. Unearth arcana and homebrew are allowed with the express permission of the GM. Characters will need to be completed before the session begins. I am available at most times to assist in character creation.

The current party

This game will be played every other Sunday starting at 6 pm and ending at approximately 11 pm.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

I request that players have an understandable mic and a stable internet connection. There should be no software installation needed and there are many free dice rollers online. Players must have a dnd beyond account, a discord account, and a roll 20 account in order to play.

What Hunter brings to the table
