About the adventure
⚡ Join a new team of Power Rangers! ⚔️ Don your armor and cape and Power Up to face threats both magical and technological! 🤖 Gain access to amazing weapons and massive Zords! ⭐ Stop Rita Repulsa from gaining a powerful Grid artifact: the Zeo Crystal! Using the exciting Essence20 Roleplaying System, you'll create a brand-new teenager with attitude! This team is infused with the power of magic and mysticism! Morph into action and fight off the Evil Space Aliens of Rita Repulsa as you also tangle with new Earth-based menaces as well! Nearly thirty years have passed since Rita Repulsa was freed from her space dumpster and began to attack the Earth from the safety of her moon base. Defeated by the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and sent packing back to galactic parts unknown, she has returned with new powers, new forces, and new resolve: to find the Zeo Crystal and put an end to the forces of good for all time! And meanwhile, under the surface, even more sinister forces are gathering!

About me
A writer, poet, and anthropologist, I love to introduce new players to the fantastical worlds I grew up in and love even more building new worlds with players of all experience levels (including no experience!) DMing is a passion of mine, something I am always striving to improve at: the physical world around me is littered with sourcebooks, notebooks, guides, print-outs, Post-Its, dice, half-painted miniatures, and other paraphernalia related to this incredible hobby. Creating your character
Players joining after Session 0 will start off at the same level as the rest of the team, including Powers and Zord creation. I will work with players over SPG and/or Discord leading up to their first session to build their characters and level them up, creating power sets, weapons, and Zords.
We currently have five Role in-play: 🖤Black, 🟦Blue, 🔶Orange, and 🟣Purple Quantum🕰️. All other Action and Adventure Essence20 Roles* are allowed and will be modified to fit in our magic-heavy Power Rangers setting. ⚡ 📅 Sessions every other Thursday! 🪄 We're going on all manner of magic-slinging adventures! * = Power Rangers, G.I. Joe, and Transformers. Please note, the Green Spectrum Role has been retired.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players would be advised to have a mic available for use with Role (or Discord), but text chat accommodations are allowed. Having read up on the Essence20 or other d20-based games will help the players but isn't necessary. A free Role account will be necessary (http://app.playrole.com/).
What Gerald brings to the table
I bring pre-made adventures from Renegade Game Studio and will eventually transition into bespoke adventures created specially for the group; some will be based off of episodes of the Power Rangers TV shows, while others will be completely original, featuring original characters and situations. Additionally, I bring with me a gaming community full of great weirdos. My Discord channel is full of fun people who love gaming in all its forms and fun conversations take place daily. We also run Community Events every month to bring new experiences to the table!
