About the adventure
The year of our Lord, Nineteen Forty-something: The world is at war! Stalwart men and women fight on all fronts to keep Hitler and the Axis forces from achieving their inevitable goal: WORLD CONQUEST! But there is another aspect to the war that few know about. A secret war being fought in the trenches and across the globe. Ancient evils are being discovered, unleashed, and sometimes manipulated to serve the Axis engine of war. Only a brave few are tasked with counteracting this evil and trying to put the genie back in the bottle for the good of all mankind. This campaign will use the Fate Core system, and be inspired by the Modiphius Entertainment "Achtung! Cthulhu setting (but not strictly beholden to).

How to prepare
Webcam and Mic are required because facial cues and reactions are important to know if someone is about to talk, or is having an emotional reaction to something. Headphones are required, as I do use music and SFX. Dice will be virtual or physical (player's choice) unless someone never rolls a failure and it bothers everyone and I'm forced to play dice police. Obviously, you'll need a Discord and Roll20 account, both of which are free.
What I provide
The GM will bring knowledge of the system rules as well as pizazz, moxy and a certain je ne sais quoi. Players should bring their imagination, a proactive (not just reactive) approach, and a great attitude. :)
Gameplay details
This game will deal with a part of history that does not share our modern sensibilities. At the same time, I have no interest in overt sexism or racism, or any desire to make anyone feel uncomfortable or unsafe. I expect to handle these things the way tv shows or movies do when someone from modern times travels back to the 1940s. If the idea of a machismo NPC saying something about how "that's no work for a dame" (only to have the female PC put him in his place) offends you, then this game might not be the right one for you. But that's as far as it should go. ;) The horror though... The horror will be horrific. And war is hell, so the action will be bloody and brutal as all get out.

How will character creation work
A collaborative, group Session Zero will be free after you sign up for the campaign. :) We will build a bit of the world and the issues the PCs will be facing, as well as the characters and their bonds. (Session Zero is free. However, if you no-show (failure to cancel within SPG's 24 hour cancelation policy) you will be charged the full amount of the session. A private session zero can be provided later, and the previous charge will act as payment for the GM's additional time. If you disappear off of the face of the earth (otherwise known as "ghosting"), you will be removed from the game after your second no-show. No refunds will be provided.)
