About the adventure
"Rakhlora is the home of a plethora of beings, mortal or otherwise. Created by a pantheon of Gods that emerged upon the first breath of existence, they sculpted the earth and oceans through Their divine powers. Once the mountains were raised and the first trees took root, the mortals were created. Pray to the Gods and step forth into the world. Travel through the mountain streams; visit cities across the world; delve deep into the restless earth; trudge through the biting snow and scorching sands. Wherever you may roam, keep in mind the dangers that entail the journey and the political climate as you step from region to region. Whispers of war are on the lips of the peasantry and tensions continue to rise. Take heed and contemplate your choices. Or don't and do your best to avoid the war or any troubles it brings. The journey is yours, no matter where it takes you. But before any of these possibilities can happen, you must take the first step." ... The world of Rakhlora is unique and I spent 4 years creating the world and handcrafting each map specifically for the game. The world map, region maps, city maps, and some misc. maps were made by me to make sure the world is cohesive in style and feel. The lore and Gods of the world were written by me and are made to enhance your immersion and enjoyment of the world rather than distract from it. Those who enjoy sinking their teeth into a world and lore will have a fun time in this game as they learn of customs and cultures wherever their characters visit next! This game is heavily involving the Gods of this world. They will speak to you, interfere in your affairs to either help or hinder you, and offer wisdom and knowledge. The game is also very political, meaning that people, nations, alliances, and empires have their own goals they want to fulfill and that helping some can have big ramifications to different related entities. How you navigate these waters will be interesting to see! But now comes the question on your mind: Why should I join this game when there are other games that are free? Well, other than what I stated above about investing lots of time to make the world immersive and complete, joining my game and paying guarantee you three things from both the game and myself. 1) You can expect consistent games with very low chances of a session being called off. You are paying to have a game every week and I will make sure to deliver that to you. 2) Quality is assured for every session! I work hard to make every session fun and meaningful. I use all my experience to craft an amazing narrative with you so that we end each session excited for the next. And 3) I give you my full attention and will work with you to ensure you and your character will have a meaningful journey in this campaign. How to prepare
I only ask for prospective players to have a decent Mic for communication to use during the games. All rules reading and character creation will be done in session 0. Players will not need to bring their own dice or material as the games will be run on Foundry VTT which I will provide the game link to.
What I provide
I have made maps for the world, regions, and cities for the players visual reference. Each one was made with effort and care and has a cohesive style. Maps were made through Inkarnate and Dungeondraft.
Gameplay details
My games will typically refrain from extremely graphic or offensive content. I don't like to describe in great detail things like torture, sexual situations, or sensitive subjects that are too close to things in the real world. Please know that you won't need to worry about things like these when playing with me and if at any time you are uncomfortable, feel free to speak up and I will end whatever it is. Subjects such a torture, sexual situations, and others are in the game, but I often describe them vaguely enough as to not go into extreme detail while still getting the point across. Other than that, my games are well-planned out and prepared before-hand each session, but I can always improvise on my toes if something unexpected happens. I will always make sure that the session is worth your time and money. In terms of Gameplay, I favor a more heavy emphasis on Roleplay and Immersion, but still do my best to make combat challenging and fun despite it not being as constant as other games where the DM does more regular combat encounters. In terms of Puzzle-solving, I don't focus on that as much but expect there to be mysteries and investigations that you can take part of in the world.

How will character creation work
Character creation will be done after I finish speaking with you about what to expect from the game and any questions you may have during Session 0. Characters start at level 3 Roll for stats will done for all characters and each character will be allowed 1 free feat and either 1 Uncommon magic item or 3 common magic items. I also have a selection of pre-made characters with complete backgrounds, classes, items, and feat to use if you would rather use them than creating a character. I highly encourage using them as they are tied very closely with the world, are well-made, and their backstories and goals aren't so set in stone that you can't make your own decisions about how to play them going forward. Their stories are very open to how you can proceed with them.
