About the adventure

This tutorial allows you and your friends to experience the DUNGEONS & DRAGONS (v.3.5) game in an easy-to-learn format. In this game, you use your imagination to take the role of a fantastic hero and to fight against horrible evil. If you like the idea of mighty warriors, powerful magic, and fantastic monsters, you will like this game. Unlike other games, the D&D game doesn’t necessarily have a board or playing pieces, and you don’t have to play it on a computer either. In this game, you take the role of a hero in your imagination. Your imagination is where this game takes place. And the D&D game involves not only your imagination, but those of your friends at the same time.

About me

Years ago, when I was working on my psychology degree, I went to a campus gamer meetup to try to find people to play cards with, but I said "Sure, I'll try this Dungeons and Dragons thing." I rolled an Elf Ranger that day, one of my favorite all time characters. Pretty soon I was buying RPG books and making my own worlds from scratch. One little decision can lead to a lifetime of fun.

Character creation

Creating your character

You will have a 1st level pregenerated character. We can go over how to make your own characters for future games if there is time left over after the adventure.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players will need a mic as well as Roll20 and Discord accounts. A webcam is recommended.

What Scott V brings to the table

I will have the adventure prepared in Roll20 and all of the 3.5 D&D books available for reference.

Safety

How Scott V creates a safe table
