About the adventure

Experience one of many adventures in this Steampunk version of 1895's Stockholm while learning the basics of the Savage Worlds (Deluxe Edition) system, which gives simple and fast play with a pulp adventure feel. We will create characters together using a streamlined system, and then you can choose which rumor to follow in this tale-laden city.

How to prepare

A microphone is required, a webcam optional. There is no need to read the rules, all applicable rules will be explained during the game. A discord or Roll20 account is required.

This is an introductory session, beginning with an explanation of the rules and communal character creation. This is then followed by a very short adventure, which players choose in character from a list of options. These range from combat to social events.

How will character creation work

Character creation happens during the session using a roll for stats system for simplicity, resulting in characters of about 20 XP. Pre-made characters need to be approved beforehand due to some house rules.
