About the adventure
Black Sun is not for the faint of heart. This is a dark, cruel world where nothing is as it seems and everything comes with a price. Each of you has been brought here for a reason~there is something terrible you have done. What will it cost you to find your way to redemption when all that remains is just a shattered echo? Imagine a D&D game combined with Call of Cthulhu/Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark/ and an in depth psychological thriller. I want this game to be cinematic in nature. We describe action as you would if you were watching a scene from a movie. Roleplaying and character development are a BIG DEAL here. We ALWAYS speak in character. This game is mature and dark. There are mature themes that press you to really get into the determinism of you character. This game is for players that want to branch out from the ordinary hero quest and into a dark antihero redemption scenario.

This was a great 2 night gaming experience. Ben has clearly put a lot into developing the adventure. As a GM, he did a great job bringing parts of our character story arcs into the game and personalizing aspects of the journey. I highly recommend Ben as a GM.

Ben was amazing as usual. His music adds so much ambiance, and his writing creates wonderful mysteries and he makes us constantly second guess ourselves. After i somehow found this website i started playing with Black sun and i just love how spooky he can make any detail of a game. If you like horror movies, play with this Dm. How to prepare
You should have discord installed and be in my private server a day prior to our game. A working microphone and camera for use in discord. Have an idea of what type of character you want to play(Fighter/Rogue/Magic User). This game revolves around characters who are trying to find redemption for an evil act they committed. Have something in mind for a backstory, we will work together to flesh it out. Email Blacksungamingpresents@gmail.com prior to our game session to work on your character sheet (the sooner the better/at least a day before our game).
