Shadowdank

I've found two people on startplaying who I would call professional DM's. Gene is one of them. An always prepped, efficient and highly consistent DM.

Played my first Cthulhu session with Mr. Bacon and had a blast. Quick introduction and we were diving into a tomb. None of us had played before but Bacon knew his stuff and it paced great. Got bit by a snake and slowly lost my mind as we delved deeper until I shamed myself and ran away in terror. Fun system, well presented and moderated.

I'm trying to learn as much I can about Shadowrun, sat in with Rob's crew and smoothly hit the ground running. I was impressed with how well the story moved without getting bogged down by the mechanics which is 100% a credit to the DM's confidence and knowledge of the system.

Smooth, atmospheric play. Good at building tension in big moments. Insane battles at high levels. JV is a DM stud, best I've come across on start playing and in the very small group I would call professional.
