Ellery literally made me game ready 50 minutes before the first session started (though I assume they'd be sad if you made that a standard!) The Icewind Dale campaign that they run is the first online campaign I play with people I don't know in real life, and I've felt welcome in the best, casual sense. No big theatrics of "oh, no player!" as well as plenty of room to test out the vibes in- and offgame. Ellery is knowledgable about the D&D, has a great interpretation of the setting and run both combat and roleplay smoothly, with a strong "please go ahead"-kinda style. I'd suggest Ellery as a DM to anyone who likes a touch of homebrew, a truthful setting and guided character playstyle - by which I mean, it's easy to play the character you want even without knowing everything about the environment and circumstances. Ellery is also very patient, and as fortune would have it, very close to how I like to run games and think of homebrew myself! Please feel at ease to reach out to them!
