About me

ABOUT: Greetings and Salutations! Hello everyone, I am Corwin Black. I am a professional Dungeon Master (Profile). I have also been a captain on the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland, a martial arts instructor, a nursing assistant and a few other things. I have great story telling ability and a lot of first hand life experience to draw upon. I grew up with the science fiction greats from the original Battlestar Galactica series to the current greats (too many to list). I am a particularly good Dungeon Master for parties who have little or no experience playing D&D. I have played since I was five years old and still love it. I’m patient with kids and parents alike. I get people playing as quickly as possible and we learn the rules along the way. I've been playing D&D since 1977. I was five years old, and my brother was eight. In 1979 my older brother and friends got a module called, “The Tomb of Horrors.” My parents surmised that it would be too scary for me to play. So, my brother and friends, employing their ‘10 year old logic’ and solved that problem by making me the DM. That way; I wouldn’t ‘play’ the module I would ‘run’ it. What I realized quickly was that the PCs are at the mercy and benevolence of the Dungeon Keeper. They found that out quickly as well. I was hooked. I’ve played more sessions than I can count; and still going strong. I have more stories than there are pages in a paperback, and I’m still in awe of how much fun players have.

Tony did a great job. His one shot was well thought out and paced. Very fun adventure who handled a wide variety of players in it. He is creative, he knows the rules, but is also flexible. Most of all; fun. Been playing with Tony for several sessions now. I was impressed when we started. He gotten even better. He's especially grate at adding players in mid campaign. He also attracts the kind of players who are fun to play with. A SUPER useful talent for a GM. :-). Tony's doing a fantastic job at balancing the adventure with the hopes and plans of the players (I'm not just saying that because my character wants an elephant mount). LOL.

Pope is 'da man'. Professional, funny, allows creativity and encourages people to role play extremely well. He is a fantastic 'all around' dungeon master. As a DM myself I highly recommend.
