About me

Hi! I'm Astrid and I am an aspiring costume designer (no unfortunately haven't started college yet but I have a plan!), a friend of animals, plants & all living creatures and beings (no there isn't an exception for hating creatures, yes I will kill mosquitoes/ticks and any type of insect that can physically harm me and no I dont just kill bugs). I like reading, writing, painting and sewing (as well as other types of crafts, I'm a little bit of everything all at once lol). I do classify myself as beginner even though I've had experience playing D&D (2 years), I'm not comfortable enough in my knowledge to even be considered intermediate. Some things you should know about me are that I will not bring politics into stuff umprompted (I am leftist if that's what you were wondering, no I don't identify as liberal/democrat) out of respect for everyone (regardless if it's okay with people in the party or not. I'm here to have fun but I will definitely gladly discuss anything revolving politics if asked about situations and wanting to have a real conversation about beliefs, not just plain arguing for no reason I think it's unhelpful); I have Alopecia Areata which is an autoimmune disease I got diagnosed with in 6th grade (it causes an imbalance in my white blood cells and attacks my hair follicles with cause them to fall out, ergo I hae a lot of bald spots), I'm saying this to get it out of the way and would appreciate if it's not brought up much as I live my life with people asking questions almost everyday (not that I'm mad, just gets old quick lol) and I am also a Queer Hispanic/Latinx person! I'm okay with people asking about my sexuality or gender (just be respectful ofc, I get curious too dw I get it) as well as my ethnicity if you're really interested in knowing what flavor of Hispanic I am lol. I would like to keep most things light and will try to refrain from just random truama dumping or talking about dark subjects (in case anyone gets uncomfortable or triggered) but other than that feel free to ask anything you want to know about me, I'll gladly share!
