About me
Hi, I'm Sarah. I've played rpgs intermittently since the 80s, mostly D&D of various editions, entirely in person until this year. I'm exploring other game systems and various platforms for play, so if it isn't listed as a preference it may just be because I haven't tried it yet. I tend to like a lot of humor and a good bit of character development in my play, and I often enjoy if it's in worlds I already know/love. I actively avoid Gen AI, and it's important to me that worlds I play in have space for queer characters regardless of whether romance is part of things. Examples of worlds I'd be interested in exploring in rpg form, if such game exists: Pratchett's Discworld, Doctor Who, Star Trek (not the Kelvin timeline), Douglas Adam's HGTTG, Monty Python, Robert Asprin (Phule or Aahz and Skeeve), Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar, Anne Mccaffrey (Pern or Crystal Singer), Farscape, Xena, Howl's Moving Castle (I love both Diana Wynne Jones and Miyazaki), Moomins, Muppets. I don't generally play or read grimdark or dystopias. I also don't play most video games, mostly because they tend to make me motion sick or qualities of the audio triggers migraines. As a result I'm mostly clueless about worlds that originate in them.
